These are Greg Kendall's two tracks, one from the Flymaster
Tracker and one from his 5030. There are consistent with all the other altitude
graphs that I have presented in this issue, where the Flymaster track shows a
higher altitude on the SeeYou "altitude" chart, which is supposed to display
barometric altitude.

Kraig's Flytec 6030 is set to record a track point every ten second. The blue

On the same day, but at a different turnpoint, Greg Kendall also
experienced his Flymaster tracker missing a turnpoint, just as Jonny's Flymaster
tracker did.

On Sunday at the Santa Cruz Flats Race in Casa Grande, Arizona the task
committee called a task with a 13 kilometer goal cylinder. The idea was to make
it safer to land on the east side of the Francisco Grande hotel. There were a
lot of easier ways to make this happen, but that's what we were stuck with.

Jim Prahl pulled me to the east to where I got to climb up quickly
to 7,300' all by myself. The problem was that it was still to too early.
Searching around I got down to 5,700' near the edge of the start cylinder as the

picture that the Flymaster Tracker lost the connection to the GPS at a crucial

factor at launch time (1 PM - 2 PM) was greater than 5 mph.
