Oahu. I flew Makapu Pt. Sunday where the conditions were ideal with a launch
wind of about 30mph straight in with much less wind in the landing area. This
site may not present the challenge/reward of XC flying but this site is a pure
joy to fly. The wind direction required landing up the coast a couple of miles
on a huge sandy beach. Pictured is my NW Freedom 170 after a nice flight. I love
this place.
