About fifteen pilots made the challenging 100km task with many
pilots landing just after the turnpoint. I will win the day ahead of Wolfi.

Task 1 was a 100km dog leg task with a tough final head wind leg
into goal. Base max was 6000ft, climbs of 800ft/min could be found if you were
lucky. I ran off in a light X-wind when Jonny and co were screaming up out in
front of launch. Took the 3rd start with most the guns and was a little slow to
the first considering the epic looking sky.
