The new edition of Thermal Flying by Burkhard Martens has been
released and is available to trade and retail through Xcshop.com. The new
edition is the second English-language edition and is actually the English
version of the third German-language edition, so it's the newest version
possible.

As well as being generally updated with many new photos, illustrations and tips
throughout, there is a new section at the back with articles about cross country
flying by some of Germany's top pilots. There are 30 more pages - at 298 it's
nearly 300 pages long now.

Compared with the original, 2007 edition, there are fewer typos and the
translation is much better, although for transparency's sake there are still a
few typos dotted around. But all in all it's a lot easier on the eye and easier
