A dreamy 50 km cross country paragliding flight from the Makapu'u Lighthouse on
the island of Oahu, Hawai'i and along the cloud forest, Wao Akua, or realm of
the Gods, in the Ko'olau range, filled with dense jungle, steep cliffs, and rare
plants. Gentle air lifted me close to the thousand-metre-high cliffs to be
immersed in the atmosphere of mist shrouded giant fern and intoxicating Pandoran
jungle sounds.
