Summer 2013 is going to be a hot one across large stretches of the U.S., says a
team of WeatherBug forecasters releasing their summer outlook April 5. The forecast, released April 5, indicates a distinct threat for above-normal
temperatures across the Mid-South westward across the Great Plains into West
Texas, the central and southern Rockies and Southwest. New England could also
see the hotter than normal temperatures this summer. The only places expected to see cooler than normal temperatures will be the
coastal areas of Oregon and western Washington. Everywhere else will see near
normal temperatures and precipitation.
