The Tennessee Tree Toppers Team Challenge will start with onsite
sign-in and registration on Saturday August 31st with the first day of
competition being Sunday, September 1st. We will have a big awards party and
celebration on Saturday, September 7th. This date change moves the event into a
more consistent part of the Tennessee flying season and will, hopefully, get us
more time in the air than we've seen over the last couple of years. As always,
we will have a week packed with useful seminars about cross country planning and
flying.

The Tennessee Tree Toppers now has access to two launch sites at both Whitwell
and Henson Gap, so there will be much shorter launch lines when the conditions
turn on. We will have on-site breakfast and dinner for reasonable fees (weekly
and daily prepaid value plans are available for purchase on the Tennessee Tree
Toppers TC2013 registration page), so everyone can hang out and enjoy the
seminars and daily debriefings. We have excellent camping at Henson Gap and, for
those with RV's, we have a few electrical hookups.

This year's Tennessee Tree Toppers Team Challenge has seen a major update in
competition rules and scoring, both of which will lead to a more consistent,
fair, and fun competition for all teams and pilots. The complete rules will be
posted soon on the Tennessee Tree Toppers website soon, but a short summary is
already available on the Tennessee Tree Toppers TC2013 registration page.

As always, we will have leading educators in the sport helping with all of our
seminars and we have kept the costs reasonable so that everyone can afford to
come learn more in a week than in five years of hanging out at your local site.
