On Friday we arrived here at Highland Aerosports at the airfield
next to Ridgely, Maryland. JD is here. Rooney is here. Jim Prahl, Bruce
Barmakian, Kip Stone, Brian Boudreau, Michele Haag, Sunny and Adam. We've got
three tugs for twenty five pilots. The Sport Class is almost as big as the open
class.

It was windy today and looks even windier for tomorrow and windier still on the
first day of the competition - Sunday. Twenty one knots on the ground according
to NAM/XCSkies at 2 PM.
