Two days ago I called up David Glover to see how things were going with the 2013
US National Championships. I was concerned about how all the fracking activity
that was taking place in north Texas. David was very happy I called 
because he told me his heart wasn't in running the Nationals this year. Instead
he wanted to work on his friend's campaign for mayor of Oklahoma City. He asked
me to take over for him.

After thirty seconds I said yes and then soon got Belinda involved with the
program. Now we are in charge and looking forward to another great flying
competition. I'll be doing my work in the background while Belinda deals with
much of the human interaction.

There are twenty pilots signed up and mostly paid so far. I'll be contacting a
number of pilots to see if they want to come to Big Spring for a great
competition experience. There will be a Sport Class as always.
