I haven't been reporting on any record attempts lately because
there haven't been any lately. The winds are not cooperating and it is doubtful
that they will
until maybe Sunday, a week away.

Let us say that I am so happy to be here in the Austin area instead of in
Zapata. We will go see and hear and dance to
Dale Watson
tonight at the Continental club, not a place I like (I'd rather he was at the
Broken Spoke). Looks like he'll be at the Broken Spoke on Friday.

Front came through night before last. The
high pressure has not set up in the Gulf.
