The 2013 Red Bull X-Alps finished last Friday with an
unprecedented 10 pilots reaching Monaco and the finish line. Canada's own Max
Fanderl finished a very respectable 23^rd and managed to complete over half the
~1000k course before the clock ran out. Congrats to Max for sticking it out in
one of the most difficult paragliding adventure races in the world! Max is now
enjoying a well-deserved rest after his days of hiking and flying in some very
challenging conditions.
