It may not be a good time to plan a flying vacation to
southwestern Oregon or Woodrat Mountain. Air tankers and helicopters are thick.
Best case scenario is that smoke will ruin your flying day. These are photos of
my neighborhood. Fires have come within a mile of town. Some neighborhoods
already under mandatory evacuation. I'm on standby evacuation notice.
