A dangerous gust front in the southeast

You can see several gust fronts in this loop if you look closely.
The point is, radar updates about every six minutes, and you have plenty of time
to see these things coming under certain circumstances, but only if you are
monitoring.
The pilot who died at Henson's Gap when the gust front passed over was Tim
Martin. Another guy rode it out at a site in Alabama.
It's important that I point out that my sharing this stuff to highlight the
ability to see gust fronts on low angle radar and not Tim Martin's death. I've
found few people are aware of this ability. You can also see the sea breeze in
certain locations.
