Looking for Aeros Stalker pilots

I am currently fettling the Aeros Stalker2 and interested in being
in contact with other Stalker owners if you bump into such in your travels. I
currently know of just Phantom owners. In particular, I am investigating the
relationship between flap settings and spin entry behavior - at height of course
and with the idea that I’d rather do that in a planned way than accidentally
while thermaling (especially if there are people below me). I also believe that
because of the particular design of this aircraft, lighter sailcloth could be
used without sacrificing any strength or flight characteristics to reduce both
overall weight and the static tail-heaviness. Once airborne, the handling is
beautiful: very coordinated.

On my second test flight I found myself above 5K and tested the stall
characteristics with and without flaps. Full flaps - beautiful. No flaps -
vicious spin entry, but recovered nicely with just pitch input. Hence my
interest in finding the optimum, for safe but efficient thermaling. Can only do
this when there is enough lift to get to above 4K (my comfort zone) but smooth
enough to have no turbulence away from thermals. By pure chance I had those
conditions on my second flight but not since.

I talked to Oleg at the factory about this but he told me he had been unable to
stall it (small and light). I was at full stretch to stall it and I’m 6ft and
right in the middle of the weight range.
