A paragliding accident caused a major power outage in southeast
Ogden Wednesday.

Along with two others in their own crafts, a paraglider pilot was taking off in
the Mount Ogden Park, near 32nd Street and Taylor Avenue, when he hit a power
line, Ogden Fire Department reported. The crash caused a small grass fire above
the seventh hole of Mount Ogden Golf Course and a power outage.
