Since my accident in may 2013, myself, family and friends have
been faced with agonizing upset, pain and uncertainty not knowing what the
future would hold on my road to recovery.
A great big thank you to Shedsy and Jamie and anyone else who helped me at
the horrible scene, these guys are the reason I am still here today. No words
will describe how grateful I am for what you done on that day.
All that I can say is without my partner, family and close friends my recovery
would not have been as progressive as it has been.
I would like to especially thank Carl Wallbank, Phil Don, Kris Don, and Miles
and Gem Kynaston for their tremendous support in the 100 mile cycle. I can't
thank you guys enough. And not forgetting Stu who joined these boys and done the
last five miles in his wheelchair.
I am so grateful for the continuous visits from the hang gliding lads. These
visits kept me going and helped me through such a tough time during my long stay
in hospital. You have all supported me every step of the way and take the word
"friendship" to another level.
Carl Wallbank has been absolutely amazing. He has only been a friend for a short
while but one I hope will remain a long and lasting friendship
Without the support, kindness and good will gestures of these friends I wouldn't
be in the comfortable position I am in today. I have now moved into my new home
and have settled in swimmingly.
And last but by no means least to my girlfriend Kim, this woman has been my
"Rock" and I couldn't have done this without her.
I am now on the road to recovery but can honestly say without my family and
friends and sheer determination I wouldn't be here to say my sincere thank you
to everyone involved.
