While in the northern hemisphere the 2014 soaring season has just
begun, Marlies and Peter Eicher, Down Under, have advanced to No. 1 and 2 of the
OLC World Ranking. With six FAI triangles, Marlies has made the leap to first
place in the group PHG OLC, with 2570.44 points and a total distance of 1606.52
km, flying the Archaeopteryx.

They are just ahead of Tom Weisenberger, who really just need one more good
flight to overtake them, so they had better get back in the air.
