Not at all barefoot

In this article,
http://ozreport.com/18.193#1, I was addressing three issues regarding
footwear and flying. 1. Getting shoes that were only the smallest bit larger than my feet so that
they would fit in the boot of my Covert harness without causing my toes to be
smashed. Basically mimicking flying barefoot. I was able to find such shoes. 2. Separating my toes so that my left fourth toe wouldn't be stepped on by my
left third toe (more of an issue when cycling barefoot). 3. Finding shoes that accomplished the first two challenges and also fit wide,
EE, feet. I presented a solution in that article and pointed to perhaps other solutions in
the last paragraph. I ordered a size 42 of the Vibram FiveFingers KMD Sport LS
Shoes which were reported (as I wrote) to be appropriate for wide feet. I was
able to get them on, as had not been the case with some previous FiveFingers
shoes that I tried, but still they were a bit tight. Perhaps a size 43 would
have been in order. Reading the comments on Amazon about various FiveFinger shoes, I noted that one
buyer stated that Bikila LS Running Shoes worked for EE wide feet. I ordered a
pair from here:

and sure enough they fit just fine. They are a bit bigger than my most minimum shoes shown in the previous article,
so whether they are the best at fitting in the boot has yet to be determined.
They seem like they will be fine for barefoot, so to speak, cycling, and I've
already tested them, and found that they do indeed work great for that. Both
shoes separate my toes. It is so great to be finally able to crack the Vibram FiveFingers puzzle.
