Current Comp Committee Agenda:

1. Review 2015 sanction applications


2. Review proposed SOP revision to eliminate requirement that 2 or more US pilots attend foreign comps for NTSS points


3. Discussing removing “OPEN” class from rulebooks


4. Vote on allowing Competition Class Certification of gliders for 2015


5. Review proposed revisions to FAI Sporting Code and provide feedback as appropriate


6. National Fly-in proposal – Ellenville, NY


7. Modification of NTSS system so that points are only awarded for the class of the comp. Thus, Sport Class events like the Rat Race Sprint will only produce Sport Class NTSS points


8. Modification of NTSS system so that competitions in Mexico and Canada are considered foreign comps, except in years where fewer than 2 US comps are held


9. Clarify method of determining a single “National Champion” title for each competition class and update the Rulebooks accordingly
