Honza Rejmanek (Team USA1) returns for his fifth race - will this
be the year he bests his 2009 3rd place finish?

Gavin McClurg (Team USA2) is bringing his world-record mountain flying and epic
vol-biv experience to the X-Alps for the first time. He's hoping his vol-biv
crossings of the Sierra Nevada, the Canadian Rockies, and (soon) the Alaska
Range will be the perfect preparation for the X-Alps.

Dawn Westrum (Team USA3) is another first-timer to the X-Alps. She is also only
the 4th woman ever to compete in the X-Alps (along with Germany's Yvonne Dathe
in 2015). Her extensive background in ultra- and adventure-racing should serve
her well, and she's been racking up the paragliding miles in her 5 (relatively)
short years as a pilot.
