After the intense rain it slowly became sunny in the late
afternoon. A quick rigging, some brief instructions and off we went. Felix Rühle
and Roger Ruppert made three take-offs with one battery charge. The first short
demo flight was followed by two long thermal flights. Felix was impressed and
immediately wanted to do a foot-launch exercise. In an instant the electric
drive has been dismounted and so Felix could go into the foot-launching position
for a first time. It made for a lot of fun!
