LULING - After I tried skydiving for the first time last year, I
immediately fell in love with the thrill of the extreme. So, obviously, when I
had the opportunity to take beginner classes for hang gliding – on the road to
learning to hang glide on my own – I quickly took it.

At first, I was irritated that I had to start in a beginner class because in my
head I was thinking, “How hard can this actually be?” Let me just say, they make
the classes for a reason, and questioning it is obviously not smart. The
beginner class for hang gliding at Fly Texas in Luling is a four-hour intro to
all things hang gliding – and I had a blast.
