Led by Cloudbase Foundation Nepal Director Prem Kunwar, amazing things are
happening in Nepal. The KEEN to Learn program is now in its 3rd year and, with
the support of KEEN and other donors, it has fully sponsored 8 children to
attend local schools and colleges. Five of the students live with Prem, who aims
to cover all of their schooling and living expenses, as their families cannot
contribute anything. One student, Lali, has graduated and is now in her second
year of nursing school and is already working in community outreach programs!

Other projects include training local teachers in international best practice
non-violent teaching techniques, a hot lunch program for students and teachers,
and school library development.

Much work is planned to be done, including computer labs, books, and more
training. One item on Prem's list? A slide and swing for the school in Sirkot.
The slide and swing project was a great success in Diki Danda. Let's spread the
