Super fun day of flying! We arrived to launch at 1pm. All the boys
launched before me. According to my instructor recommendations I waited about
one hour for smoother air.

As I was waiting alone I saw three military trucks full with soldiers
approaching me, they were about 20! At first I was a little intimidated by their
look and their guns and my friends who were already flying said they were
concerned about me (because from the air they saw me surrounded by soldiers),
but the soldiers were so nice to me!

They were asking me all about the flying and were amazed that I was a girl
pilot. We took pictures together and they watched me launch. Once in the air the
sky was all mine.
