Glided through 3 km of moderate rain to get the first turnpoint then joined Rudy
and Daniel in a thermal on the downwind/gust front side of the shower. Gust
fronts are usually mild here. There was enough lift to get high and run from the
building wall of rain but there wasn't a gap anymore to pass through the showers
again to the second turnpoint.

The five of us who made it past the rain all bailed downwind and landed. I
answered emails under my glider in a nice downpour. Now it's calm and sweet
smelling on the ground. Starting to clear up.
