We are creating a team-“Team Gypsy”- a handful of us young energetic hang glider
pilots aiming to revamp the sport of flying. We want to be able to continue to
chase the freedom of flight. We are going to do this by traveling to flying
competitions and new places where we will be able to improve our skill, educate
the world about free flight, and inspire people to join the new age of hang
gliding. We love this sport and live for each chance to strap into a harness and
run off a cliff or two.

Our team is trying to raise some money to cover travel costs so that we can take
part in some competitions and go on a flying trip or two this summer. We want to
let the world know of our presence in the sport and that it’s not just for old
folks anymore. Our generation of young flyers are going to be the ones to
redefine the sport and how the world sees it. We just need to be given the
chance to fly and we can make this happen.
