The new clubs trike had to be test flown for active spring flying. Last Saturday
presented suitable weather for doing it – weak wind on the field.
Tommy Nilsson, Thomas Hylander and Per Trotsman – the clubs trike towing pilots
arrived early, I acted as a towed “dummy” with a slower Fox 16 glider with open
cross bar.
We shifted towing tow pilots before my turn came. I experienced no peculiarities
during the tow. And no turbulence at all. Air at 600 m was as warm as on the
ground.
Well done test lying and happy pilots at the beginning of the active flying
season.
