Tumble at Elsinore
Video to follow. Wolfi writes:
I'm very happy to be alive and share this with you today. Two days
ago Jonas and I were flying and filming for our The Rhythm Of Flight project at
Elsinore and about three minutes after launch I got rolled over and tumbled my
glider and had a very low chute deployment. Luckily my reserve just opened in
time. I hit hard but walked away with only a few bruises. This is the closest I've ever come to death and I'm very happy to be alive and
be able talk about my experience today. Hang gliding is a safe sport but we
can't control or see the air and like every other part in life you can always be
hit by the unexpected. I took my falcon 4 195 for a fly yesterday just to get it off my shoulders and I
feel good and happy like always the sky is still where belong. Stay tuned for
the video soon.
