Watching from afar. Right now 218 miles offshore Gulf of Mexico
looking at all the gliders in the air over Florida. I'm having to captain the
ship so Niki can compete in her first ever hang gliding meet. Somebody has to
make the moolah.
It is as exciting to see the live track of the race as it is to fly when you are
stuck out here. I want to thank you for providing the links and blog info for
the comp.
I know Niki is having a tough time of it on that single surface wing but at
least I can watch her progress and see how the other competitors are doing as
well. The satellite connection on the ship is slow so it does not update like a
real live tracker would on a wired connection, but it is still fun to catch what
bits do come through when it updates.
Looking forward to seeing more of the race in the days to come. The whole ship
is rooting for Niki and everybody now wants to learn to fly Keep up the good
deeds.
