Concerning Kathleen Rigg´s world record, it's a great new concept.
She hired Tom Weissenberger to fly her around the course, find the thermals,
show her the crossings, wait for her and lead her as supporter in the air.
Official observer as an official wind tech. Amazing that on a good day like
this, the average speed still wasnt faster, because Tom usually races 300km in
the same amount of time.
There were quite a few pilots who wondered why Tom kept waiting for that other
pilot.
