Girls just wanna have FLIGHTS! CALENDAR 2016

Why are there not more female pilots in hang gliding and paragliding? Are these
sports exclusive to men? Haven't women demonstrated over time that we can excel
in any sport?

"Girls just wanna have FLIGHTS" is a project to promote free flight. It
will be a calendar of female pilots only (hang gliding and paragliding). Our
intention is to inspire more women to fly and show that the sport is not only
for men.

Despite being called "the weaker sex" us girls can also fulfill our dreams of
flight, be good pilots and enjoy our sport. We want to create a virtual
community of female pilots, because in a sport full of men, we know that as
girls we can better relate and communicate our experiences.

We will conduct a photography contest, which will be shared with the free flight
community through social network, blogs, forums, our sponsors, etc. The best
photographs will appear on the calendar, which will be sold internationally with
part of the profits generated will be donated to Cloudbase Foundation.

It is important to emphasize that we are not creating a calendar where women are
objectified as mere decoration for a glider. We do however want pictures of
women showing their femininity, curves and beautiful smiles, as well as their
strength, power, independence, and ability to fly just as well as any male
pilot.
