Just a few corrections

1) The temperatures this year in Big Spring were in the 100's (up
to 103 maybe 105). The normal temperature in Big Spring in the first two weeks
of August is in the mid nineties (as Terry attributes to Big Spring above, but
was not the case this year).

2) Sixty six pilots attended the Quest Air Open Nationals Championship.

3) Fifteen Sport Class pilots attended the Quest Air Open Nationals
Championships (Likewise fifteen sport class pilots attended the Dinosaur 2015).

4) Forty eight open class pilots attended the Quest Air Open Nationals
Championships (Eighteen attended the Dinosaur 2015).

6) The Green Swamp Sport Klassic with twenty five sport class pilots and four or
five mentoring pilots. I appreciate Terry's support of our on going efforts to
encourage sport class, but he can not claim to have the most sport class pilots
in his meet.

7) I have received critical reviews, hatred, and threats. Hasn't stopped me yet.

8)  I went back to flew Dinosaur again after we all experienced the daily
cu-nimbs of the 1990 US Nationals. So apparently I didn't learn anything from
landing in a gust front and flipping over backwards.  And apparently I was
willing to go back and look to enjoy flying there again as I did the first time.

Terry was fortunate enough to land going backward until he came down in a
sheltered ravine. Others were less fortunate than I.

9) I very much enjoyed recently seeing the launches and pictures of launch that
were of I believe the middle launch which was obviously vastly superior.

10) As both Dinosaur 2015 and Andradas 2015 proved, hill launching is an iffy
proposition. Only three days out of seven that were taskable often due to poor
launch conditions. Equal to the ECC this year, which was a very bad year for it.

11) Obviously conditions were much better from the Quest Air Open National
Championship - six out of seven days, and the Flytec Race and Rally - five out
of seven days. And, of course, the Big Spring Nationals with eight out of eight
days. And the Green Swamp Sport Klassic with seven out of seven days. I mean
there is just no comparison. Like the ECC, Dinosaur was a bust.

12) The conditions in the air at all these meets can not reasonably be compared
to Torrey Pines.

13) Big Spring is not an urban site, neither are any of the other sites.
Dinosaur is truly a western site as I duly noted.

14) Yes, even Big Spring is vastly superior to Dinosaur. I suggest an evening
repast at the Settles Hotel, for example.

15) No one is sliding in on their belly in competition.

16) Glad that you liked my prologue in Cloudsuck. Hopefully you will inspire
others to read it. I'm still here and I'm still flying.

My criticism of the Dinosaur meet is not a personal attack on Terry or any one
else. It is a statement of the facts of the matter. I do not hate Dinosaur, I'm
just realistic about it. My realism apparently was born out once again.

I personally had a great time flying there and sucking up the oxygen. I'm sorry
that Terry has to take my statements as a personal attack and then aim his
defense at me.
