I've been on the phone speaking very cordially, as always, with
Terry today (Thursday). Unfortunately, this afternoon he called again to inform me that he
is needed in North Carolina to help take care of his grandson who has a
devastating genetic condition. He feels a significant obligation to the
folks in Dinosaur to continue to run a high level competition there and is
looking for someone to take over for him to run the meet.

He is reaching out to the hang gliding community to find the person that can do
it. I'm sure that he will be able to support that person long distance from
North Carolina. He has already applied for sanctioning from the USHPA (Thursday
morning).
