He was doing loops and wingovers, went vertical, full stall, the
wing (a T2C) started tumbling, broke and started to spin very fast, he threw his
reserve but the bridle got entangled in the glider. The chute barely opened as
it was stuck at the leading edge level (or what remained of it).

Thibault was a thirty year old pilot, very talented, and member of the French
National team.
