Success (Ta) One last thing one may consider is the success of the competition (Ta), i.e. was
it a fair competition. There are many ways to measure this, none is very
objective or accurate. As competitions in hang gliding mostly
involve a number of tasks we tend to use this as a measure of success. Ta values for Hang Gliding 2 tasks: 0.8
3 tasks: 0.9
4 tasks: 0.96
5 tasks: 0.98
6 tasks: 0.99
>6 tasks: 1.0
How about we pick another set of also not very objective or
accurate values (and just as arbitrary as the one's chosen by CIVL): 2 tasks: 0.5
3 tasks: 0.7
4 tasks: 0.8
5 tasks: 0.9
6 tasks: 0.95
