HYNER - A 62-year-old hang glider was killed Sunday afternoon in
the Renovo area.

He took off in his hang glider from Hyner View on a beautiful autumn day. He
died while attempting to land the hang glider in the landing zone, which is near
the Western Clinton Sportmen's Association, according to Tpr. Curtis A. Confer
of the state police at Lamar.

State police in Clinton County now say Jesse Fulkersin, 62, of
Berwick was killed when he crashed while trying to land his hang glider near
Renovo around 3 p.m. Sunday.
