Just in time for winter

I finally got all the ducks lined up and got my Oculus Rift
working with a hang gliding simulator. I've used Ilan's simulators for years, so
I was pretty excited to hear that he added Oculus support:

I've mounted an "Airstick" to the control frame. It's a tilt sensitive joystick.
Alternatively, it'd be pretty easy to mount a phone and use an app like DroidPad
instead. The end result is pretty impressive.
I like the free moving hang glider, but it can also be setup with just a hanging
harness and a bar to push against. You mount the joystick to your hang strap.
It's not as nice since you have to push your weight around, but it does the
trick. With the free moving glider, it "feels" much more like flying.
We all just zipped up and down the coast line for a while. Fun stuff.
