The officials say Tomas Banevicius of New York was killed during
his third flight of the day. Reports didn’t list his hometown but said he was
about 35 feet in the air when the craft fell to the ground nose-first.

Preliminary information indicates Banevicius was flying a hang
glider that was assisted by a power tow line system to build altitude.

During take-off, witnesses said his hang glider rotated right and turned down,
causing it to crash.
