Open competition FAI 2, which will be held from 11 to 16 April of
the 2016 in San Marcos Evangelista, Jalisco, Mexico. San Marcos has witnessed
countless competitions since the 90's and since 2004 has been home to one of the
competitions of the national hang gliding Championship.

On the tenth anniversary of its foundation this competition takes the name that
best defines the characteristics of this site: Laguna Seca Open. Located in the
mountain range that surrounds the dry lagoon of San Marcos takeoff that will
host this event is, and Kordich Airsports, flying club who will be operating the
flight centre and the visitor centre. It houses the public who come to
experience the thrill of free hang gliding flight and is located in the north
shore of the lagoon.
