This is a time of turbulence as we wonder how the future of hang gliding in
the US will play out with new financial pressure on schools as they have
requirements for third party liability insurance if they operate on city owned
sites that require such insurance. New pilots come into the sport only through
the kind offerings of such schools and without them we are not going to survive
as a sport.
