We had a pilot coming back to Quest Air today who apparently got
hit in the helmet by a big bird. We have a lot of big birds here in Florida. A
witness thought that two people felt out of the hang glider, but one was
apparently the bird. The hang glider pilot did crash after the collision with
the bird. He is being operated on tomorrow for a broken wrist and a spiral
fractured arm. Has rib damage and a bruised lung.

Weird, but apparently true.
