Today was the second day of the Chelan Paragliding Competition,
and I'm happy with my performance! These comps are a lot like yacht races in the
sense that you have to make your way along a course defined by GPS waypoints.
Today's route was challenging and beautiful, and while I didn't make the finish
line I got about 69 kilometers down the course, which is pretty good for a year
of paragliding! If you look closely in this photo you can see a bunch of fellow
competitors below me, which is a good position to be in! Paragliding is such a
wonderfully strategic, intellectual, and fringe sport, I highly recommend it
