The forecast today showed some over development by mid afternoon
and a light westerly nearly all day (the main take off at Krushevo is due East).
We decided to go straight to the proposed bomb out field for this side of the
hill, but it turns out its very small, and should really only be used in
emergencies, while checking our options out we had a call from some other pilots
who were on takeoff to say it was now working on the east face, arriving a the
hill, it was already quite busy so we got rigged quickly. Just as we started
thinking about setting a task in the already quite big skies there was a clap of
lightening from a few miles behind the hill! We then decided our best option
would be to just take off as soon as possible and head out into the flats. We
split into a few groups but mainly just had good fun exploring the local area
for a few hours with some quite interesting clouds. Not much chance to grab
footage today but here's the video of day 3!
