Report on the Wills Wing T2C all carbon
Larry Bunner writes:
My T2C with all carbon leading edges and the ODL04 sail material
weighs 68.5 lbs. It's the best T2C I've had to date (6th one so far). This one appears to climb better when comparing with the pilots I fly with. As
with all the Wills Wing gliders, the handling is exceptional and lands well too. A friend of mine left Wills Wing to fly the Icaro Laminar and mentioned to me
that his new glider is noticeably stiffer in handling. The primary benefit of the carbon is in high speed glide. I feel speeds above
40mph result in a better glide. Overall the Technora ODL04 sail probably is the best part. It is lighter,
stronger, retains it's shape over time and looks better over time than previous
materials. Even if I wasn't competing, I'd get the T2C for all around
performance and resale value.
