We took almost every one of these children hang gliding, so it was
a special one for me.

We set a goal of raising $5,000 which would be enough to pay for everything
needed to put TEN Mufindi Children's Village students through school for an
entire year! Including school fees, uniforms including shoes, text books, school
supplies, transportation, even lunches!

Here's the scoop:

One Sky Project and HERE-is-WHY visited an incredible organization in Mufindi,
Tanzania. The Mufindi Children's Village provides shelter, food, education and
medical care for vulnerable children and families in the area. For more

We saw the life saving impact this organization is making with our own eyes and
couldn't believe how far they've come in a mere 10 years of working with this
community. Ten years ago, this community was literally about to die because they
had no access to medical care. There were orphan run house holds every other
house on the street, but now, after a decade the community is out of their
crisis zone. Medical care is now available and parents are living. There is a
Children's Village where orphans are being cared for and education programs and
projects that have propelled those kids to the top of their class!

The Mufindi Children's Village is shaping the leaders of tomorrow!
