A call from John Harris of Kitty Hawk Kites, North Carolina reports that a hang
glider pilot just broken the site record for endurance, the first flight ever
over one hour. The original site and World Record was set by the Wright Brothers
on October 24, 1911 and lasted 9 minutes and 45 seconds.

Here's a shot of me flying the original "Thermal Shark," which I designed and
manufactured for several years during the 1970's. This was the model that broke
the Wright Brothers original record.
