Midwest 2017
Thirty nine pilots have been confirmed (paid for). The entry fee
goes from $350 to $650 March 1st. http://www.midwest2017.com/fees/ The rules:
As you may have noticed, The Midwest 2017 hang gliding competition
is receiving tremendous interest. At this point 77 pilots are registered on the
Airtribune system. Unfortunately, we have a limit of 60 pilots for the event (so
far). The first 60 registered pilots have prioritized status, and the remainder
will then be placed on the Waiting list. We received questions from pilots; Is my position safe on competitor pilots
list? or: Am I already in comp? Or, Do I need to do anything else to be on the
competitor list? The following rules will help. 1) Each pilot with Confirmed status on the Airtribune pilots list has safe
position on the competition pilots list and it means he/she is in the
competition. If a status other than Confirmed appears with your name, it means
that you are not in the competition yet. 2) To change your status from In progress to Confirmed you need to pay
entry fee before February 28, 2016. See
http://www.midwest2017.com/fees (otherwise, after Feb 28, 2016 your status
will be changed to Waiting list). 3) To change your status from todays Waiting list to Confirmed you need to
pay the entry fee before February 28, 2016 to have an available spot in first
60 pilots list on Feb 28, 2016. 4) Pilots from the waiting list who have paid will be moved to the Confirmed
list in the order that they registered. 5) Pilots who paid the entry fee and were not able to get the Confirmed
status will receive a 100% refund after closing registration date (May 20,
2017). Note: To be sure to fly in our competition please read Requirements.
