Approved flight instruments requirements and procedures -
Following a problem with a weird tracklog in a test event, a temporary Working
Group has been implemented to address the issue. Explanations are given on the
test event problem and on current discussion in the Working Group.

The issue was with Pedro Garcia's Digifly vario that rebooted
during the flight. That resulted in a thirty second gap in the IGC track log
file. It also resulted in a lower pressure altitude after the reboot as the
instrument recalculated the pressure altitude based on the current actual
pressure not on that found at the time of launch. Because there was a height
limitation for an airspace restriction pilots would receive a zero score if they
went too high. Otherwise no one would have cared.
