Last Sunday the new developer team met in Zurich for an
introduction in the system architecture and to set up development environments
on their Pcs. They then started correcting known bugs and developing concepts
for new functionality. In the evening, they already published a new version,
17.0.4 (Condor), with the following changes and additions:

1. Flight replay: IGC files recorded by the Connect 1 can be played back.
Restriction: Currently only shows GPS altitude, baro altitude and vario to
follow

2. Confirmation before factory reset: This now requires a key sequence that
prevents unintentional resets – be it through harness buckles or small children

3. New logo during start-up

This is a small step in terms of functionality. But with it development has now
been restarted, with a team of volunteers. All of them are pilots, fly with the
Connect 1, and are highly motivated to steadily improve this vario in their
