Jacque Henri-Lartigue was an important figure in the history of
photography. He was also, like many off his countrymen, fascinated with
aviation. This photo was taken by Lartigue in 1908, showing his brother, Zissou,
in a glider of his own design. He took many other photos of gliders and powered
planes, but this is the only hang glider I've seen.
